The layout is based in the fictional town of Bubbleton, where the railway station is slightly outside of the town itself. Set in the 1960s, a variety of diesel and the occasional steam loco supplement the branch line’s staple stock – Class 121 / Class 122 “Bubble” cars; and hence the layouts name!
In addition, within the private goods yard, serving the chocolate factory will be an interesting feature for prospective train drivers young and old – the ability to drive the trains and try to set out the wagons in the correct order.
